Gas Safe Article

I was amazed when contacting GMTV by email about the new Gas Safe register and the lack of care to the public.

GMTV seem to only prey on headlining issues that will boost their ratings. You can understand this to a certain degree, as they have got to earn money like anyone else, but I ask everyone to think about this.

I emailed GMTV when the credit crunch hit over a year ago, asking why they reported in such a destructive way. My phone stopped ringing for 2 solid weeks because they scare-mongered everyone, I run my own small plumbing company.

I simply emailed GMTV with my opinion: that if everyone kept on spending it would minimise the chance of ressession. I never had a reply.

I recently emailed GMTV, to inform them of the new gas register scheme which is replacing the corgi scheme. I felt that the public was the last to know and this has the potential to cause mass confusion, as Corgi has been looking after gas safety for many years. I simply asked them to help and inform the public. Again no answer.

You have to ask yourself do GMTV want to wait for some dirt or sensationalism rather than make an informed statement which will help the public?

I believe GMTV are a very POWERFUL COMPANY AND SHOULD BE MORE RESPONSIBLE.
